iPhone and iPad with a LiDAR scanner — that means iPhone 12 Pro or newer Pro models, plus iPad Pro from 2020 onwards. Requires iOS 17.
On your device and in your own private iCloud. HouseSense has no server and cannot see your scans. Delete the app and your iCloud data, and no copy exists anywhere.
LiDAR scanning is typically within ±2–3 cm. The drawing is squared up automatically so it looks built — but the numbers are always the scan's own. The drawing is tidied; the numbers never lie.
Nothing disappears. All your homes stay fully readable — floor plan, 3D, PDF and photos. You simply can't create more homes than the one free one, and homes beyond that become read-only.
